Automate Keynote with Keyboard Maestro

I love Keynote, but it is terrible about providing easy ways to do things through keyboard shortcuts. There is so much power buried deep in obscure menus. To help with this, I've created some macros using the amazing tool Keyboard Maestro. Currently included is:

  • Go to first slide
  • Go to last slide
  • Go to next slide
  • Go to previous slide
  • Center on slide
  • Add 0.5s dissolve transition
  • Go to Light Table view
  • Go to Navigator view

To start using these:

  1. Buy a license for Keyboard Maestro
  2. Download the .kmmacros file
  3. Go to File -> Import macros safely
  4. Re-enable each macro

Feel free to modify and share these. You may need to take a new screenshot for the "Add Transition" button.
